Excellently read by Tom Watt, My Side gives Becks a chance to tell his side of the story. This is not history, but one (involved) man's view. No controversies here, the book is full of praise for all, including those that held Becks back. The book is almost entirely positive. So positive in fact, that I felt like I was reading Harry Potter (and I love me some HP!). If I were a young boy into football, the first three quarters of this book would be just the inspiration to push myself further on the pitch, to shoot higher in my ambitions as a pro footballer.
