The book has a few shortcomings: it is too long, often going off topic (which is magnified by the droning narration) and ends with a lot of frivolous god-talk. But there are some redeeming chapters which are extremely thought provoking. If I was a university professor, I would assign only about half of the chapters in this book.
I would've given this book a 3-star rating if not for the fact that it might have changed the way I think about technology. Influencing outlooks deserves an extra star, to say the least.
